Heart Aid Shisen was held on July 14, at Tokyo, Japan. Our Sandy Lam flew directly from Shanghai to Tokyo right after her Shanghai concert on July 12. Hong Kong artists all appeared in the middle of the concert, and Sandy performed “At Least I’ve You / 至少還有你” and Mariah Carey’s “Hero”. The charity concert started at 7pm and finished at around 11pm. According to fans, there was an auction at 5pm, and Sandy’s oil paintings got the highest bid for about 300,000 Japanese Yen. The result was announced on stage before Sandy’s performance. When asked how she felt about the concert tonight, she said it was very emotional, and seeing the children in Shisen reminded her own kid, then she felt in tears. Japanese newspapers described Sandy as a Hong Kong Diva with an angle’s voice, and stated the song “At Least I’ve You / 至少還有你” was once sang by late Leslie Cheung. The concert raised about 28,000,000 Japanese Yen all together.
