According to YesAsia.com, Sandy Live 07 DVD should release on April 3. The first edition is going to be a iron box-set, which also comes with a 50-page booklet in A4 size in sewn binding. Disc 3 is going include “a documentary of LIVE 07″ (making-of) plus 2 encores: Communication (Breathe Me ‘05) and Suffer in the Wind (Love, Sandy ‘95).

According to Sandy and Me, Live 07 DVD promotional posters can be found on Nathan Road, Kowloon. The same cover art is being use for both DVD and poster as well. The promotional slogan is 「完美演繹 鑑聽之選」, “Perfect performance. The choice for music lover.” It also stated the DVD will include the making-of.
Last but not least, it also mentioned “3 DVD – shoot in HD”. Please note that shoot in HD is no equal to HD quality no matter what. After format conversion (from HD to SD), it’s still DVD quality at the end; although it should be slightly better then 05 concert DVD release. Why? The big difference is Live 05 DVD compressed 31 songs + behind-the-scene + karaoke in 2 discs; while Live 07 compresses the concert (25 songs) in 1 disc, karaoke in 1 disc and making-of + encore in another one. Therefore, with less compression, the better quality we get. The DVD should release on or after April 2nd. Blu-ray release, however, have no definite release schedule at the moment.

Singer, actor, Niki Chow said she has been taking vocal lessons from Christine Samson every week for the last two years. The motivation came from her idol Sandy Lam, in fact, Sandy is her role model since the beginning. Niki said although she couldn’t compare to her at this moment, but Sandy let her understood if you work hard, nothing is impossible. Kiehl’s to sell signed Sandy Lam Live 07 DVD at HK$175, for Watchdog fundraising, only 200 pieces are available. They are going to be on sale at 8 Kiehl’s stores in Hong Kong at the beginning of April (exact time is yet to be confirmed), unfortunately, I can only locate 7 stores… if you know the 8th one, please kindly let me know, or post it in the comment. Please note that Kiehl’s airport store will not carry this DVD. If the DVDs ran out, you can also purchase these Kiehl’s product in supporting the same cause.

將於下月舉行兩場演唱會的劉美君，正式宣布表演嘉賓名單，包括林憶蓮、林海峰、蘇永康及草蜢，劉美君說：「本來諗住自己一個人霸晒個台，不過歌星朋友實在太好心，個個報名話要支持我，我真係期待到不得了。」

劉美君將於下月19及20日舉行兩場演唱會，昨日她宣布演唱會嘉賓名單，除好姊妹林憶蓮會撐場之外，蘇永康及草蜢都會分別與她在台上合唱，兼夾鬥妖鬥姣，還會和林海峰（Jan）合唱《大開色戒》。劉美君說：「一路以我都諗住自己一個人霸住個台，話晒都第一次紅館開騷，不過我歌星朋友實在太好心，個個報名話要支持我，要做我嘉賓。」近日忙於綵排的劉美君笑言自己心急如焚，她說：「今次真係勁歌熱舞，到時就會好似同班friend開party咁，我真係期待到不得了！」

有這樣一個女人，唱情歌能唱到聽者心痛，有這樣一個女人，單身撐起一個家卻依然堅強，有這樣一個女人，兩年內同地二度開唱而不懼，她就是永遠的單眼皮女生林憶蓮。兩年前，林憶蓮南京個唱盛況空前，有消息說那次是林憶蓮的“絕唱”，昨天記者獲悉，今年6月底，林憶蓮將再度開唱五台山體育館，打破“絕唱”謠言，向南京觀眾獻上一片熾熱“蓮心”。
劉若英演唱會的主辦方江蘇綜藝頻道的總監張紅生昨天透露，下半年他們會帶給南京觀眾更多懷舊實力派歌手演唱會，除了林憶蓮外，10月25日周華健唱響五台山體育場，12月20日費玉清也將來寧開唱。
說到林憶蓮，不得不想到李宗盛，這對因音樂結緣卻最終勞燕分飛的佳偶讓諸多歌迷高喊可惜。即將在寧開唱的李宗盛被問的最多的並非會唱多少首歌曲，而是會不會邀請林憶蓮來寧看演出，觀眾都期待看到他們再度聚首。主辦方解釋道：“林憶蓮得知南京觀眾非常想她，她很開心，但是來看李宗盛演出她是沒這個時間了，所以6月底她特別辟出檔期給南京，暫定6月28日開唱五台山體育館”。
林憶蓮很多膾炙人口的經典歌曲都出自李宗盛之手，《當愛已成往事》、《不必在乎我是誰》、《傷痕》、《鏗鏘玫瑰》，李宗盛助陣了林憶蓮的輝煌，林憶蓮也挖掘了李宗盛創作才華，怪不得李宗盛常說“只有林憶蓮才能最准確地詮釋我寫的歌”。對於此次演唱會林憶蓮表示：“6月底，我要大聲唱歌給你們聽，這次的演唱會會全新編排，打破以往演唱會的風格，主打國語歌曲，我不怕一個人唱單身情歌”。

Teresa Carpio talked about her students in her recent interview. She said Sandy was her very first student, in fact, Teresa turned her down when she first approached her. Then later Teresa lost her voice, and after she recovered, she told herself what a terrible experience it was, and realized she should stop being so selfish and teach others what she knows. In 1990, before Sandy’s first ever concert, she went to Teresa again and that was how Sandy became her first student. Teresa added Sandy was very hard working. During their lessons, they talked a lot, she wanted to find out what her fears were. Teresa is very impress the Sandy today, she found her voice and style, she found her weakest and strength; in fact, Teresa said Sandy made Cantonese sound so beautiful in music. However, she said, Sandy might be a bit too low profile. she could open up herself a little more.
