Welcome back to Remember Sandy website, in fact, do allow me to welcome you to version 6, and the transformation of this site has finally complete.
One of the major upgrade is that Remember Sandy v6 is now using valid XHTML and CSS. As many of the browser now support news feed, you can read the latest headlines using Atom and RSS.
It is still an English oriented Sandy Lam fans site, just like the old times, with translation for all major news. You can now find the old news by Categories, or by Monthly, or simply by the Search engine.
Like many other news blog out there, you can leave comments on each of the news without any registration whatsoever, it would be a great way to interact with other fans and me. So all you need is fill in your name and a valid e-mail then write your comments! Your e-mail is to prevent spam and any trouble maker out there, your e-mail is not going to be published.
Most of the content have been added moved, re-moved, arranged, re-arranged, and missing! Please be patient during the renovation process and hopefully the rest of the content will be updated soon.
Thank you again for your support all these times. Hope to see you again or even meet some of you someday. And of course, our support to Sandy will never die.

In the latest issue of East Finder Magazine #705, it’s reported that in the second half of 2005, there will more singers from the old days coming back to stage or releasing a new record.
Sandy and Prudence Liew are mentioned. According to the article, Sandy is under Gold Label now, and the new Cantonese album is to be released in September produced by Mark Lui. However, rumor that they haven’t had time to go into the studio yet. The next concert (4 nights) is also arranged by Gold Label as well.
Prudence Liew came back last week (it would be last weekend (7-23/24) actually, and she is going to stay in Hong Kong for 4 weeks.) She is going to re-sing Eason Chan’s 2001 Cantonese release 大開眼戒 for Wyman Wong’s new lyrics compilation After Tan.

Rumor said Sony BMG – The Legendary Collection disk might damage your CD player. It’s said that since the disk is all black, it will creating message correction continuously. Is it really true? It is to be confirmed, or let me know if it happens to you. Meanwhile, to be safe, you can either save it to your computer or make a duplicate.

Leon Lai’s new Mandarin is produced by Jonathan Li. During the interview, he said Lau Fai Hung wrote a song for him once but it wasn’t good enough, he rather choose Li for he is more professional. oh well…
這年頭時機歹歹，天王也不像以前那麼好當，黎明和劉德華8月同時搶灘台灣歌壇，發片前先來個徹頭徹尾的大變身，黎明更展現難得的親和力，親自領媒體到他下榻的飯店房間聽新歌呢！
可能是經濟太不景氣了，香港四大天王華仔、黎明、張學友和郭富城也急著變身，找尋生命的新春天。這一年來，張學友把主力放在舞台劇「雪狼湖」，郭富城剃個大光頭熱舞，華仔和黎明當然也要跟進，首要目標都鎖定了國語歌壇市場，第一個目的地就是搶灘登陸華語重鎮─台灣。
華仔暌違國語歌壇三年，8月4日也要推出新作「再說一次．我愛你」，曲風以情歌為主，連專輯的封面和內頁都擺上了華仔小指繫紅線，或者是被紅繩纏身的畫面。
來台六天專心拍MV
前日晚上黎明悄悄抵台，破天荒在台灣待上六天，他並非為了宣傳電影「七劍」，而是要拍攝8月底推出的全新國語專輯音樂電影。
黎明跟林建岳合資成立新唱片公司「AMUSIC」後，新專輯也砸了大錢製作，其中最大的一筆是花在製作人李宗盛身上，不料卻做出一張「最聽不見錢聲」的專輯。
黎明苦笑說，以前聽到「全日愛」、「呼吸不說謊」就等於聽到了錢聲，但這次他難得挪出三個月待在北京，每天聽李宗盛說愛情故事，最後連唱腔都像是被李宗盛附身，簡直變成了小李宗盛。
李宗盛口中的「牛B歌（受歡迎、賣座的歌曲 )」，在黎明聽起來，只能解讀成是一種「個人的品味」，黎明還說，他聽完了整張專輯，完全找不出一首主打歌，只好找周格泰導演幫他拍MV營造一下氣氛。
樂被改造 唱腔變了
不過，黎明卻很樂於被改造，連聲音、唱腔都變了。在錄音期間，恰逢李宗盛和林憶蓮離婚之時，他一天到晚都被要求唱分手的痛苦情歌。
黎明透露，林憶蓮現任男友陳輝虹曾幫他寫過一首歌叫做「西施檳榔」，其中還有一句搞笑台語：「雞不是我殺的！」黎天王說，這首歌實在很難聽，他還是覺得李宗盛比較專業啦！
華仔沒人綁得住
華仔和黎明的感情觀相近，華仔表示截至目前為止，除了母親以外，沒有任何女人能綁得住他，因為他小時候曾因為頑皮偷錢，被媽媽綁起來處罰，所以此綁非彼綁啦！
華仔說，除非他願意被人綁才會考慮公告天下。黎明也說，歷年的緋聞對象都不是真的，媒體一口咬定他跟舒淇一定談過戀愛，只見黎明頭搖得跟波浪鼓一樣說：「你們不要心有不甘，我們只是好友啦。」

RENT is on its 10th Anniversary touring in Asia and Karen Mok is added to the list as one of the actor. In the article, it mentioned Sandy also re-sang its hit song “Seasons of Love” in her second English album “What A Wonderful World”. RENT is consider as one of the greatest musical in the 90s since its first show in 1996, New york, USA.
她二月曾在香港演出舞台劇《半生緣》，戲中詮釋作家張愛玲，包括男友馮德倫等親友看過戲後，對她的演出都讚譽有加。當時她就表示迷上了舞台劇，希望可以再有機會上台，上月她在香港看另部音樂劇《周末夜狂熱》（Saturday Night Fever）時，也重申她的興趣，卻沒想到機會來得又快又好，有機會和百老匯演員合作名劇《吉屋出租》。
年底亞洲巡演
一九九六年首演的《吉屋出租》被視為百老匯九○年代的代表作品，劇中多首歌曲膾炙人口，《Seasons Of Love》（愛的季節）曾被林憶蓮翻唱。今年底起的亞洲巡演是該劇的十周年紀念大事，該劇經紀公司巡演前考慮在劇中安插一位能唱能演的亞洲演員，對方找上Sony BMG公司的外籍高層詢問，莫文蔚因而中選，將演出女主角「咪咪」。
全劇英文演出
《吉》劇明年二月才來台，但因耗費預算達兩千五百萬元，演出經紀公司布洛克兄弟已提前在本月開放售票，還開放七折折扣。只是不少觀眾看到莫文蔚參演，一度還以為是中文版來台。害得布洛克兄弟得不斷解釋該劇是紐約演出團直接來台，全劇英文演出。
曾在英國看過此劇的莫文蔚，獲得參演機會興奮得不得了，下月她還將飛到紐約定裝、拍劇照。

This song originally performed by Danny Chan, Sandy Lam, Prudence Liew and Priscilla Chan in 1988 on RTHK 60th Anniversary Musical, but it was only record on disk without Sandy in their own album. This is a duet video with all four singers on a TVB show. The video clip is created by a Danny Chan website in China.
“燃點真愛”原本由憶蓮、陳百強、劉美君和陳慧嫻四人合唱，是1988年港台的60週年音樂劇《神奇旅程樂穿梭》主題曲，但四人合唱版沒有收錄唱片，刪除了憶蓮部份的版本則收錄在其他三人唱片，以下是TVB節目中的四人合唱版，有憶蓮親身演出，下載自陳百強網站”離不開 – 陳百強”。

A fan in China talked with a media friend and found out that later this year, at Eason Chan’s concert in Shanghai, Sandy might be his guest; moreover, Sandy might have her 20th anniversary tour at Shanghai in March. Nothing has been confirmed.
